Jennifer Hees has been a basket weaver and gourd artist for many years. She creates decorative seasonal gourds and artistic gourd vessels. She carves, stains or paints the gourds allowing the natural finish of the gourd to "shine" through. She then embellishes them with wire, beads, seeds or other materials.
