The main focus in Barry Perez's work is texture, using sterling silver, gold, a variety of stones and found objects. Influences come from ancient cultures from all over the world, but especially Asia. Barry's goal is to combine features of ancient artwork with current ideas to make a contemporary style, a style that is distinctly his own.
