Christine Reyna's mosaic crosses are one-of-a-kind pieces of art made from leftover and previously discarded materials such as granite, glass, china, pottery, and antique porcelain.
The history behind Christine Reyna's mosaic crosses: For over a decade, Christine and her family have gone on short term mission trips to Africa, Thailand, Trinidad, Costa Rica, Spain, Australia, South Africa and Venezuela, as well as here in the United States. While praying for innovative ways to raise money to pay for the mission ministry, she was led to a pile of leftover materials from one of her husband’s latest remodeling jobs. She started taking scraps of materials out of the trash piles, placed them together and began making crosses. As a result, she has been making and selling crosses since September 2009, with all proceeds going towards foreign and domestic missions.
